Description

This kit unfortunately is no longer available. Here is a great alternative:

Octa Mayer Octave Fuzz

------

The Octavius is a fuzz from the 60s that produces a legendary Octave Up sound. It produces a fuzz sound that lets the octave sound through, then when you strike a chord, great ring modulation sounds appear.

This kit contains the PCB and all necessary parts. The enclosure can be selected, please select 2 knobs, up 20mm diameter, for 6,3mm shaft separately.

5 from 5 Really cool clone

Similar to the original, very consistent fuzz and the octave is pretty the same you can hear from famous albuns. Nice circuit adapted to normal polarity. I strongly recommend this kit.

4 from 5 Octavius

PCB perfect, the parts arrived completely.
The documentation is large, but there is missing some important information - e.g. how the PCB for footswitch should be oriented, as there are both directions possible.

5 from 5 Great Vintage Octa Fuzz

Great build, and great support from Musikding, all the parts were provided, and this pedal sounds really good.
I would like to have a smaller transformer since it´s difficult to fit on the board, OR the PCB board should have more space to fit this transformer.

2 from 5 PCB guitar mania doesnt provide any support

good kit by musikding, the problem is on PCB guitar mania side. they seem to be inactive. they do not answer emails and they do not accept new people in their facebook group, which acts as their official forum.
their documentation is pretty poor as well, as its pretty generic. there is no much information on how to build the specific circuit. i built mine and it doesnt work. have been trying to contact PCB guitar mania for weeks and zero response. im not a beginner, i dont buy these kits to learn or spend long hours debugging because the construction is not well documented, just want to build my own stuff instead of buying commercial pedals.
