Description

The Add Verb is a BTDR-3 based reverb pedal, giving a wide array of delay sounds, from slap back to room reverb and bigger. The four controls are Volume, Reverb, Tone and Decay. Making it a very versatile tool.

This kit contains the pcb and all necessary parts. You can choose an enclosure, please select 4 knobs separately (for 6,3mm shaft, up to 20mm diameter).

I had some trouble finishing this kit because of the different included switch board and sadly because of an defective opamp chip. I had to build an audio probe and check each part to see where the problem is (it had very low output) only to find that I had to replace the opamp chip. I find the experience though very good for me, since I can figure out now stuff that initially seemed hopeless :) The kit suffered some changes over time and some recommend a different value resitor (witch I found extra within the package) but the inital one is better (more volume). Its a very nice sounding reverb pedal once you make it work (I only use it for a bit of texture in my rig), its pretty quiet and natural sounding and it has more than enough settings but you need to study and understand the schematic, you need to check the Guitar PCB forum for other builds of this pedal and realise that diy stompboxes also means knowing how it works not only lego mounting parts.
