Description

The Benzin VH4 is a reproduction of the VH4 Mega channel. It can be used as an overdrive pedal or standalone preamp.

This kit contains the PCB and all necessary parts. The enclosure can be selected, please select 7 knobs for 6,3mm shaft separately.

Amazing pedal, but very tight build

I built 2 of these bad boys, as I was so much in love with the first one that I wanted to build another for my guitarist! Its one of the best preamp pedal out there, even if its not the subtlest : you wont achieve amazing on-the-edge-of-breakup tones with it, but the full-on chugging rhythms, or leads are amazing.
One thing tho, is the drilling template in regard of the included jacks. In both builds, I couldnt manage to use the standard jacks in the kit, and had to get Lumbergs from my stash instead. Even in the second one where I used the Solid Metal drilling template for the top jacks, as I strongly recommend to do (the attached drilling template has these jacks hole way too close to the pots). Still, amazing pedal, but I feel like the kit should include Lumberg jack (even if its a bit more expansive). Or maybe its me being clumsy.

Very helpfull team

Haven´t build it yet but the order itself it went just fine, the package and the goods arrived in time and with no isuues at all. Very helpfull people at all times. I´ll be back, surely.
