Description

This aluminium diecast enclosure with dimensions 90x38x30mm does not use much place on your pedalboard but is featuring enough space for ineresting projects.

The drill layout is optimized for using standard components and providing maximum space for the pcb.

This enclosure is designed to use two pots with up to 7mm mounting diameter (for example 9mm Alpha), a bezel for a 3mm LED (4,5mm mounting diameter), a compact DC jack (8mm mountind diameter) and standard footswitch and phone jacks (10mm mounting diameter).

Tight squeeze for the footswitch

Trying to sweeze in the 3PDT footswitch (also sold here) is a very tight fit, needed to be slightly rotated, a minor nuisance. Include a few Neutrik phone jacks (mono NYS229) and things get really tight really fast. You need to really take care in orienting the jacks, or you could shourt things. No other jack types would fit. Normal pots obviously dont fit either, need to use those green small alps (9mm). This is info that I was missing in the product description, so adding it here, hoping that it will help other people.

Its exactly what you would expect, with the footswitch hole being ever so slightly off-centre. Probably to accomodate the LED. Which is a 3mm led, with the mounting clip (clip3mm) for a perfect fit.

Its tighy in there, but very rewarding to build a complex pedal in such a small box enclosure.
