Dragons Breath Boost Bausatz

Low parts counts, easy build. Drill holes in proper places (dont really know why I mention it as I never had a problem with the way Musikding drills the enclosures). Can be dialed in to sound _very_ similar to the other treble booster kits, which usually come with input cap switches.

I played it next to a GuitarPCB P.U.R.P. and the Dragons Breath was sounding pretty much the same. So the nice thing here is that you can change the input capacitance with a pot (Range). No need to test different cap combos first.

It also has the usual Boost pot and then theres a Heat pot for the grit. I dont think Ill ever turn the Heat down though, but its nice to have options I guess.

I was wondering if the Dragons Breath (silicon transistor) would be less noisy than the P.U.R.P. (Germanium), but no, again theyre pretty much the same. The P.U.R.P. isnt that noisy to begin with anyway.

Kit arrived swiftly but the PCB was missing, even though while ordering the kit had show up as available. The PCB took over a month to arrive. That is my only grief. Not going to subtract a star for that though as the kit itself was great.

Make sure to put the transistor in the right way around. And be aware that theres a socket for the transistor in the kit. It was in a different bag than the transistor itself, so I overlooked it, otherwise itd have used it.
