The Germanium Percolator is a silicon/germanium hybrid fuzz. The circuit transmits even harmonics and suppresses odd harmonics. Even harmonics are more pleasant for the ear than odd order harmonics.

This kit contains the PCB and all necessary parts. The enclosure can be selected, please select 2 knobs for 6,3mm shaft separately.

Deçu par la mod Albini

Kit très bien préparé et facile a monter.
Par contre, jai trouvé la version Albini un peu faiblarde : pas des masses de gain, un son un peu froid...
Comprenons nous bien, ça fait encore exploser les harmonics, mais il faut vraiment que la pédale travaille avec lampli, parce que toute seule elle a peu dintéret montée dans cette modification.

Je nai pas testé la version stock, mais je pense que je vais modifier la pédale en ce sens... doù un peu de temps à passer à la pompe à dessouder...

Un bon produit mais pas le son que je cherchais

i like it but not huge gain

I built the Albini version, I highly recommend switching the 2N5087 transistor with 2N5089 because the stock volume is really low,( especially if you use germanium clipping diodes, not even unity gain!)
NOTE: throw away the 3pdt pcb because its not compatible with this board)

Overall its a great overdrive, i you switch the transistor cab became really angry, its rich in sound (not thin as i would expect listening to big black albums for example) so its way more flaxible than what i thought.
Musikding is great as always, even during this pandemy time they are quite fast with shipping and responding

Good sounds, but bad bulding experience

I like the way this pedal sounds, but the footswitch pcb is not compatible with the kit, the hole for the led was to small so I had to drill it again, and the TO-92 packaged transistor (the small black one) was too weak, the whole thing sounded like, i dont know something that struggles to achieve the unity volume, without any distortion. I changed that transistor to a 2n5089 and it is fine now.

Overall good sounds, but disappointed with the kit quality.
