Description

The Gristleizer combines a tremolo with an oscillator-controlled filter. The controls allow considerable versatility, allowing you to achieve sounds from polite, smooth tremolo and auto-filter wah wah sounds, to industrial grinding distortion, ring modulation, and hard stuttering effects.

great kit for strange and beautifull effects

Very easy to build, just be carefull with 2N3819s orientation.
It took me one week to figure out that was the trouble !
Listening to the Grisleizers triangle wave made me feel better.

I dont think you can mount the pots on-board with the rotary switch. So I had to use wires and shortened them all, as much as possible, to limit the clocks noises.

The description is accurate, according to your settings, the circuit can do very different things. Surprising and destabilizing at first .
When you change the waveform, you need to turn the bias pot to get the best of the modulation.
The VCA/VCF switch is really interesting and usefull.

With a guitar, I noticed the Gristleizers modulations can be used in various ways if you place it before or after a fuzz or a distortion.

Im sure this great pedal can be put to good use not only with guitars but with many instruments.

Dont use the BBS drilled

the PCB is fine, but dont order the bbs drilled box. Whos the stupid guy who designed it ? The PCB is designed for angled pots but the location of the switches make it impossible to fix the PCB. Thats stupid because there is room to place the switches elsewhere. The PCB is floating in the box. Why to make things easy when you can make them complicated.
