Bought this to do my The Screamer DIY kit. Ive soldered without one and it resulted in a lot of swearing and fiddling and shoddy soldering.

My soldering is a lot lot LOT better as a result of this helping hand holding my board. Best 5.50€ Ive ever spent.

Its a low cost item so theres no harm picking one up. But I found it rather difficult to properly position. Though any difficultiescould be attributable to my inexperience.

I am happy to have it and I do not want to miss it. Could it be better - probably. The tightening is not that secure but as I said it gets the job done. Weight is nice, so no wobblyness there.
