Nice kit but instruciton on how to use could be improved

Kit is nice, assembly is easy but as it could be used in a large variety of pedals, it is difficult to find the exact instructions on hot make it work. Wen building it in a Boss SD-1, with the LED of the SD-1 connected to the bypass kit it will not function correctly. With the LED-ground wire connected to pedal ground, the LED either turns on when the pedal is of (and vice versa) or the LED is always on... Also a long search was nescecarry on how to switch the pedal to Always on (remove Resistor R23... if you can find it :-))

Not completely silent, but comparable to a good true bypass pedal

I bought this to convert a TS9 pedal to true bypass. (I found that the buffer gave me a small but noticeable tonal change, and rolled off some of the lowest and highest frequencies more than I wanted.) This kit worked very well.

I found that it was not completely silent, but its still quite reasonable, and comparable to some well-engineered true bypass pedals I own. If youre after a completely silent bypass, this might not be it - but if youre after converting your own TS9 to true bypass without changing the outward appearance, this might be exactly what you need.

I would happily buy again.
