The Oceanid is an optical compressor.

This kit contains the PCB and all necessary parts. The enclosure can be selected, please select 3 knobs for 6,3mm shaft separately.

This project is by Aion Electronics, in collaboration with Musikding. If you have any problems with the contents of the kit, please contact Das Musikding (Klaus). Since the modifications require some basic knowledge, this project is rather for more experienced builders.

Excellent quality and sound kit

The kit is of excellent quality. PCB is great as per the usual Aion standard (albeit I would give a slight preference to have the component values printed instead of the schematic numbering - this usually makes for a faster build, but of course theres a drawback - debugging is a tad harder).
Musikding take the extra mile, by writing EACH resistor value on the reel paper attached! That would be of huge help to beginners, so they dont have to read the color codes or measure them.
Excellent and transparent sound. Recommended!

great kit, very well done.
Only issue: the pre-drilled case that came with it was a bit wrong, i.e. it had the pot holes in a different position than the kit and PCB. I had quite a bit of trouble adapting it to fit. Other than this, five stars.

Great compressor pedal.

The best compressor Ive ever had; not very simple to build but it has a fantastic transparent sound.
