Description

The Parentheses Fuzz contains an Octave Fuzz, a Rat inspired Distortion and finally a powerful Booster. The 2 footswitches control Bypass and Boost.

This kit contains the PCB and all necessary parts. The enclosure can be selected, please select 5 knobs for 6.3mm shaft seperately.

Growling sound in box

The build process was pretty straightforward. Take great care with reading the documentation and sort all of the parts beforehand to make the populating the PCB and soldering easier. As for the PCB layout, its great. Fits snugly into the provided enclosure.

Just one tip: when you finish populating the PCB, put the LEDs and potentiometers in the correct position inside the enclosure and put the PCB on the pot/LED leads and then solder them on. After that, do the offboard wiring to make it tidy.

I just had one problem. I ordered a predrilled enclosure but the holes for input, output and DC jacks were missing. I drilled them myself with a step drill bit without much trouble. This is the only reason why I will give 4/5 stars.

The sound is the best part. When you strike a chord on a guitar, the room lights up and you feel like your walking the the surface of the Sunn ;) I have to recommend this kit to all to try. Its great value.
