Description

The Queen Lizard is a 70s octave fuzz pedal. It basically consists of two DIY circuits with some very slight mods. The Hemmo Bazz Fuss followed by the Tim Escobedo Push Me Pull you.

The build docs are kept very basic, please check before if you can handle the build. This kit is a creation by Moonn Electronics in cooperation with Musikding.de. 9V DC power supply
3 nice knobs for the potentiometer, up to 20mm diameter and for 6.3mm shaft

Wow, really cool fuzz

This is a distortion but with fuzz feel (similar to a big muff, less gain and more mids).
It has incredible output controlled by level, an upper octave (similar to superfuzz, not a clean octave) controlled with a pot from 0 to 100%, cool to give attack to the mids.
The third control is like the attack in old fuzz (gain in upper mids and bias, more gated effect).
This is the big versione of the Queen Lizard, Q1 make the differences, I like this 2n2219a. Q4 change the octave effect, also 2n3906 works well, with less harsh octave.
The diode change the gain (less gain and more gated with germanium, I like the silicon one).
I built this for a friend, but Ill take one also for me!
Ill try mods from bazz fuss deluxe (bass input control)
