Description
The Proxima Optical Compressor is an advanced adaptation of the Flatline Compressor, a DIY classic originally invented by John Hollis in 2001. Over the last two decades, there have been several modifications and revisions by the community. While the original version only had sustain and volume controls, the Proxima has more luxurious features on board. This version includes several additions: a JFET input buffer to split the signal, a sensitivity or threshold control, a clean blend with separate effect and clean volume controls, and an output buffer for phase correction in the mix stage. If you like the Flatline, but want more flexibility, the Proxima is the way to go.
This kit contains the PCB and all necessary parts. The enclosure can be selected, please select 4 knobs, up to 20mm diameter for 6,3mm shaft separately.
