Refractor kit.

I Dont know the original but il like it ! however, very complicated to built : small pcb, a lot of options, some parts more, some parts missing, some parts very difficult to identify. But it was the previous version and il think the last one is clearer. I am very happy with this pedal !

I was looking for a low gain overdrive, and I would like to try a Musikding Kit.
Result is really pleasant: really well done pcb, all the components and also multiple diodes for testing purpose.
Low noise and really good result!

Cant compare it to the original, but this Klon sounds amazing! Beautiful PCB, perfect documentation, easy to build and amazing sound. For the fraction of cost you get the most sought after guitar effect ever. Highly recommended!

Ce kit permet de construire une réplique de la klon centaur à lidentique, jusquaux diodes DE9 qui sonnent comme loriginal (éviter de les plier, elles sont en verre). Les sonorités sont excellentes. Tout a été dit sur cette pédale, mais il est vrai que sa réputation est méritée.
Deux jeux de diodes intéressantes sont fournis avec le kit, les DE9, et les bat41, qui sonnent très bien aussi. Pensez à acheter un switch, et la petite carte qui va avec, vous pourrez monter les deux jeux, et passer de lun à lautre.

Building the unit was very straight forward, thanks to clear documentation. PCB is very high quality. I did the tone cap mod (6n8) and put in D9E germanium diodes. This way my Refractor sounds even better than expected! I highly recommend!

Cest le meilleur kit de Klon que jai trouvé jusquici : très versatile, beaucoup de gain si on veut.
Une patate de monstre, une réserve phénoménale de volume, jadore.
Excellent complément de mon ampli orange !

I purchas this kit together with a pre-drilled box that is a perfect match.
I’ve used the two Germanium diodes D9E an the pedal sounds fantastic with this option.
This Klon is now on my main pedalboard and will stay there forever.

Ive just finished this and it worked first time, which for me is unusual, probably because of the very high quality PCB -a joy to work with- and the lack of off-board wiring. I hard-wired it to the buffer bypass and then realised the switch was in the bag (should have looked first:-). I still have to work my way round the dual pot gain but the initial feeling is that it sounds great.
