Description

The Sinner Bass Drive is a so-called Bass Preamp DI Box. This means that the DI box passes the unbalanced bass signal balanced via an XLR jack to a mixing console or the corresponding recording equipment. Optionally, the output level of 0 dB can be lowered by -20 dB for adaptation to microphone preamps. A ground lift completes the DI section. This pedal is a hybrid solution of bass preamp and overdrive pedal. Through an unbalanced output, you can either connect the pedal like a normal effects pedal in front of any standard bass amplifier between bass and preamp, or optionally connect it in a serial effects loop. As a full-format bass preamp, you can even drive a power amp directly with the Bassdriver DI. The boostable level of the output by +10 dB is very useful.

This kit contains the PCB and all necessary parts. The enclosure can be selected, please select 6 knobs, up to 19mm diameter, for 6,3mm shaft separately.

5 from 5 versatile

From a neutral boost to dirt, this pedal does everything. It also works well with high gain guitar amplifier for recording the bass. Recommended.

5 from 5 A great pedal

A great pedal/box. It makes a real difference to the sound of your bass, the tone and drive controls offer a wide dynamic range. Really handy to be able to go direct into the board via the XLR output. Great for gigs or for the practice room. Works well enough with guitar as well.

Easy to build and install in the JJ sized box, a great kit.
