Skinwalker Hi Gain Distortion kit

Just by looking at the circuit, you can get a feeling that this circuit will deliver quite a bit of gain, taking inspiration from Plexi simulation circuits that also use a sequence of jfets.
The overall result is impressive, it is probably impossible to deliver the same tone with the same amount of components, so kudos to the designer.
In my view, this is a pedal that deserves more attention, it really stands out and it is really aggressive, an adjective chiefly reserved for fancier, IC-based pedals that sell for a lot more when fully assembled.

As I have also purchased the enclosure on this pedal, I cannot help remark that it wont be easy to fit in properly.
In spite of the shielded input output wires, the noise levels are quite noticeable, which may be an obvious problem for professional players. The overall space you get in the enclosure also means that careful wire cutting and routing must be considered, otherwise fitting the circuit will be tedious or outright impossible without causing short circuits or putting unnecessary mechanical stress on the soldered cable ends.

Overall, not a project for beginners, maybe not a product that is quite ready for exigent professionals, but if you want a special design that delivers an aggresive tone, then I cannot recommend the circuit enough.
