Description

The Sproing Reverb emulates the classic Deluxe Reverb spring reverb. This is implemented using a BTDR-2H-L module.

This kit contains the PCB and all necessary parts. The enclosure can be selected, please select 1 knob, up to 25mm diameter, for 6,3mm shaft separately.

Simple et sympa

Commençons par le montage : le schéma est clair, le PCB de bonne qualité et les composants biens étiquetés (merci Musikding !), tout est donc facile à ce niveau.

Lutilisation : un seul bouton, donc pas de difficulté ;-)

Le son est très convainquant et sonne très spring, sans toutefois avoir ce drip qui le fait si bien dans certains styles... dommage mais pas rédhibitoire.
Bref ça le fait très très bien mais ce nest pas une reverb à ressort dans toutes ses composantes, ça reste sage

My first project of this kind in a few years, and I loved it.

I loved the building aspect of it as much as anyone, and I was genuinely surprised it worked on the first try, which means I didnt make a mistake somewhere.
I guess more is to be said about how it sounds. I know it uses a reverb module from a very popular family of such modules that are present in many pedals. I does sound like a real spring reverb, albeit theres not much settings to tweak it, the only setting it does sounds very good. And when combined with a compressor project I also bought here (Dina compressor) going out of reverb... Its just awesome - the fading reverbs getting amplified and it gives some kind of mild, but very nice distortion.
Anyway. Great pedal, great project, and an easy recommendation for newcomers like myself.
