sunface clone

This kit is really easy to assemble.
Pedal sounds very nice and reacts very well to volume knob and playing.
Check pedalpcb forum or analog.man sunface doc to bias it correctly.
External sunbias pot is a real good idea and allows on the fly adjustment.
Like all vintage fuzz : crank it and adjust with guitars volume knob

Very good fuzz!

The build is very easy but I messed up the offboard wiring and the LED. Its my fault, however, these kits are really good. Its just that if you make a mistake, the holes for the wires are really tiny and close to each other and its difficult to remove the solder and redo the connections cleanly. So use decent third-hand tools, tin your iron and be precise with the solder.

Personally I don;t like top jacks, all my pedals have jacks on the side.

The Sunface sounds really good. I got AC125 transistors and while theyre noisy they sound great, what youd expect from Germanium. Of course the Bias trimmer and the Sundial knob allow for a range of tones. I like my Fuzz Faces a bit sputtery.

Sunflower Kit

I am very satisfied, the pedal is a dip in the 60s, with the advantage of allowing an accurate adjustment.
