5 from 5 Bass overdrive

Easy to build, easy to mod overdrive more than suitable for bass as well as guitar. I use mine on bass, as an always on od. Bigger input cap for more bass response and thats it.

5 from 5 250G over 250

It was my first but definitely not my last DIY Guitar pedal! It is very easy to build and it Sounds good. Btw I dont understand why there seem to be more people buying the 250 instead of the 250G when there are so many 250 yellow vs 250 grey videos on youtube and most people seem to prefer the old grey 250G.

5 from 5 Fantastic kit and an easy first build

I had never built a pedal before, or done that much soldering and had never worked on a PCB. So this was all very new to me, but working methodically and carefully through the supplied instructions I was able to successfully build the pedal and to my amazement it worked first time! Took about 4 hours to complete the build, I really enjoyed it and learnt a lot.

The pedal sounds great, has a nice purr to the overdrive breakup, maybe a little trebley so that might need EQing out but all in all Im delighted with it as a first build!

5 from 5 This is great!

Hi, this is my first kit here at Musikding and more will follow for sure!
The PCB is very good quality, some colored cable is included, all perfect.
After some testing I decided it wasnt the sound I was looking for so I changed it to a yellow 250 than I played with the input cap,
goin from 10n to 1n made it a lot more tight as I like, than I made a switch to swap 1n or 3n3 for a little more vintage sound.
Now its absolutely killer for my taste, this is fun!!

5 from 5 Very, very, very good!!!

In last 25 years I had many different guitar pedals. Everything between chinese build copys to hand made expensive pedals.
This is not only a good pedal for it`s price this is A GOOD PEADAL (period!!!)
Quiet even att higher gain settings, responsive, extremly good sweep/range of controls that`s never harsh or too much. I don`t think that youtube tests of these pedals do them justice!!!
They sound incredible!
Most of all a sound is so good that it will make boutique pedals run for their money!

5 from 5 Excellent kit

with the same PCB you can build at least 3 or 4 (slightly) different pedals. I first bought the 250G, then slightly modified it, then bought a plus distortion but changed my mind, and built a 250 with some selected components. I didnt test the plus, but the 250 are very good. Internet is full of information about original models, generally the Musikding kits are very close to them, but you can easily correct any component that does not match exactly the specific model you intend to build.
