The 45er - Phaser kit

cétait mon premier essai avec Musikding et ça a a marché du 1er coup (cela tient du miracle !). Ne pouvant pas comparer avec loriginal (ou un autre), tout ce que je peux dire cest quune fois branché sur la boucle deffets de mon Laney Lionheart, il est devenu immédiatement indispensable.

Let me start by saying I have no knowledge of electronics. This pedal build was my third from musikding, and as always the package came quickly and with everything packaged for easy overview and understanding.

The build itself took around four hours for me but I would imagine it could be done in two hours.

This was my first pedal with a trim pot which posed an interesting challenge: Where to set it! The directiins in the buid docs state to adjust until you have a nice phaser soundand while that is subjective and non-specific - it is very true and very easy.

I love the sound this pedal makes at love speed adding just a it of airyness to the sound. At full tilt it is almost like an old electric organ.

Der phaser is simple but fun and with a love tone. I recommend it!

Kit complete, easy to mount, and I followed the orientation marked on the PCB and everything worked fine. Dont forget to bias the small trimpot to adjust the voltage and have an effective phaser!

Super easy to build, I even got the pcb without any printing errors as others may have.
I got 2N5457 jfets so be careful with orientation as they work the opposite of the 2N5952.

DO NOT FORGET TO BIAS THE CIRCUIT as if you don’t do that the pedal will have no effect!!

Absolutely no noise when on except for the phasing of the actual signal from the guitar.
It fits a type B enclosure without problems, of course it will only be powered by dc, no battery could fit inside.

In the end I totally raccomando this kit even to newbies to diy pedals cause it’s very very easy and the results are fantastic!!

Relativement facile à monter. Attention cependant, si vous possédez les transistors 2N5457 avec le kit, il faut les monter dans le sens contraire à celui indiqué sur le PCB ! Pensez également à régler le bias lors de la première utilisation sinon vous naurez aucun son !

Effet très propre, aucun souffle, super vintage, un must-have !

Excellent kit, tous les composants sont bien identifiés et le circuit dune sérigraphie irréprochable. Au niveau de lassemblage, il faudra être vigilant sur limplantation des transistors, si vous avez les 2N5457 il suffira de les monter dans le sens contraire indiqué sur le circuit imprimé. De même si vous voulez loger une batterie dans la pédale, à moins d’être le digne descendant dHoudini, il vous faut acheter le boitier le modèle au dessus en taille. Ne pas oublier de régler le Bias pour tirer le meilleur de votre pédale et pour obtenir leffet escompté. Très bon son tournant, en réglage extrême pas de souffle ni autre parasite, réglage très fin et sensible dans le début de plage. Son très propre et pédale efficace, en résumé un très bon phaser.
