The Bender Mk3 - Germanium Fuzz kit

This is a very good fuzz, very loud, with a 60s-70s beautiful color. There is a helpful tone knob makes the pedal better than the fuzz-faces because it can be too bright sometimes.

Easy mounting, labeled components and, more important, great sound! The documentation is ok for mounting your first kit, they give also the schematic, and the wiring with photos. Nice job!

Just be carefull with the germanium diode!!!, the glass can break easily when you bend the wires.

It should be good to have an advanced documentation, adding in the web the datasheets of the components for deep in the propieties of this simple circuit and also the common voltages values at some points to fast test errors. Also, the drilling holes for the components are a bit tight, I prefer the diamenter of the Screamer PCB, that by the way is also an awesome job!

Very nice Kit. I found easy the mounting thanks to labels on every component. The sound is great and versatile. I found only two little problems. 2 of the 3-pin inline sockets for germanium transistors were partially broken in the plastic part, they seem less safe-holding than the good one and the transistors have very little movements. Also the germanium diode glass came chipped. I was very worried tryin bending the wires and in fact the little chipped glass part came off. I decided to test anyway the diode and then the circuit and the pedal... incredibly everything seems working well. I hope it wont be easily broke in the future.

Fantastic kit works great sounds good.
Had a problem with the glass diode (it broke while bending) orderd two new ones
one for incase it happend again.
Receved them a few days later.
I should have orderd the BB enclosure the 125b is to small to get a battery in.

Juste reçu donc pas davis sur leffet en lui-même, mais concernant le contenu, excellent.
Tout le nécessaire est là, même les fils pre-dénudés, supports pour le circuit imprimé.
Vraiment très pro et de plus pas cher je trouve.

Excellent experience building this fuzz. Easy to put together and sounds great! I snapped the germanium diode but it was easy to replace. Fitting the wires into the case revealed I had some joints to resolder. Once complete, it worked perfectly. What a learning experience.

This one was easy to build and the sound was great for me as Im not a super fuzz tone lover. This one was just right. One transistor was missing but one email solved that problem - you know who you are good sir ;)
