The Bender Mk3 - Germanium Fuzz kit

Easy mounting, labeled components and, more important, great sound! The documentation is ok for mounting your first kit, they give also the schematic, and the wiring with photos. Nice job!

Just be carefull with the germanium diode!!!, the glass can break easily when you bend the wires.

It should be good to have an advanced documentation, adding in the web the datasheets of the components for deep in the propieties of this simple circuit and also the common voltages values at some points to fast test errors. Also, the drilling holes for the components are a bit tight, I prefer the diamenter of the Screamer PCB, that by the way is also an awesome job!

Juste reçu donc pas davis sur leffet en lui-même, mais concernant le contenu, excellent.
Tout le nécessaire est là, même les fils pre-dénudés, supports pour le circuit imprimé.
Vraiment très pro et de plus pas cher je trouve.

Excellent experience building this fuzz. Easy to put together and sounds great! I snapped the germanium diode but it was easy to replace. Fitting the wires into the case revealed I had some joints to resolder. Once complete, it worked perfectly. What a learning experience.

This one was easy to build and the sound was great for me as Im not a super fuzz tone lover. This one was just right. One transistor was missing but one email solved that problem - you know who you are good sir ;)

This kit is one of the best I can try (regarding of the sound).
No (unwanted) noise and big (F* good) noise !
Very simple project to solder, few components, good germanium transistors (very good hfe choices)...
But a mess to wire ! Wires everywhere with a floating PCB under the pots. We can deal with it but it could be more easy to mont.

Dont wanna be negative, cause as Ive said before, the result is awesome and thank you for that ;-)

Ive built a lot of Fuzz pedals from Musikding. ..but this Tone Bender MK Iii is easily one of the best sounding. ...Gorgeous creamy fuzz tones ..no buzzing or howling. .quiet. ..and dynamic....nice range of sounds from slight growl to all out fuzz snarl.

Easy to build.....pots are spaced very close to each other on the enclosure so recommend insulating from each other with insulating tape after mounting to stop accidental shorts...
Also beware glass diode....I use two tweezers to bend the wires without putting strain on the glass body which can easily snap...
Overall great build and fantastic sounding pedal..can go from a Jimmy Page Zep snarl to a Billy Gibbons ZzTop souped up Fuzz with ease.....really nice ...

Classic project and tone. Perfect transistor selection from Musikding. Good choice to start building pedals.
