Description

The Control boosts a wide mid spectrum and supports response and sustain of your guitar. Singlecoils are getting"fatter", humbuckers get additional punch. Boost the volume without getting shrill.

This kit contains all parts you need to build a fully functional effect pedal.

Not included in the kit, but also good to have:

Aluminium enclosure: select one above
9V battery or DC power supply
1 nice knob for the pot, 6.3mm shaft
Decal, transfer or transparent sheets for labeling

for clear sound

It works well with clear sound but not with overdrive ones. I tested it on a old Ibanez SG (SH6B pickups) on Engl Thunder 50. Unfortunatly the boost is unefficient on crunch sound. It works on clear sound but that was not what I was looking for.

Great mid boost for my fender stratocaster

Great boost pedal for single coil guitar in particular. With the pedal engaged the sound become warmer as your strat became a gibson. Fine with clean amp and really good in front of an overdrive to get extra punch.
The pedal works exactly as I expect. 5 star for me!!!

IS NOT A SUPERBOOSTER BUT THE SOUND IS EXCELLENT

This stomp is not a real superbooster with a lot of gain ... is a good way to have a fatter sound also from a single coil pickup. the middle are enphasized enough to better exit from the amp. I recommend to use this stomp in combination with a simple but transparent booster in order to overdrive avery kind of input amp stage

Bien mais…

Facile à monter parfait pour les débutants. Comme beaucoup de préamplificateur à émetteur commun, le signal est déphasé de 180°, donc attention si vous mélangez les signaux.
Bon booster mais il est vraiment intéressant si on peut l’alterner avec un boost transparent comme le Katana, un switch pour les alterner et un pour mettre en fonction.

Simple yet effective

Different type of boost. Not your typical clean or treble Booster. A little similar to Ep Boost but But EP focuses more on bass and lower mids, while this one on broad mid range.

As far as build goes: very easy, good pcb, if youre a beginner all parts are clearly marked. Kind of fool proofed. One negative: it was mandatory for me that this effect would be powered by a battery. The pcb is small enough that I could still fit a battery inside. But I assume the kits with bigger pcb/ more pots will just NOT accommodate any battery in 1590 style, small enclosure. It is nowhere written and it is not immediately apparent by looking at build documents.
