Description

The Fuzz Face is one of the big classics in stompboxes. This Germanium version features 2 germanium transistors and has posititive ground. So it is NOT possible to power it along other pedals on one power supply. You need an extra power supply or a battery.

This kit contains all parts you need to build a fully functional effect pedal. Also very useful:

Aluminium enclosure: select one from the top
9V battery or DC power supply
2 nice knobs for the pots, for 6.3mm shaft
Decal, transfer or transparent sheets for labeling

Sounds Incredible!

Works perfectly and sounds great! The schematic doesnt quite match, so I recommend using the supplied PCB and wiring diagram. They are quite accurate. Im certain Ill be buying other Musikding kits in the future :)

fuzzzzzz

Really good fuzz, easy to build, just follow the schemes, the only thing that is bothering me is that it cant be power supply via daisy chain in line with other pedals. Because of its negative polarity.

Great sounding fuzz!

I absolutely love this fuzz! Easy to assemble and a killer sound. It`s a reguar on my pedalboard.

Super Fuzz

Premier kit : très simple, ça marche et cest facile à modifier (en cherchant différents schéma). Offerte à un pote qui ne jure que par elle. Une super fuzz.

Great kit!

Well, what can I say? It does what it is expected to do. Great germanium tone and easy to mod if you are into those things. The transistors sent was not AC128s but equivalents AC125s and they worked fine! But Im going to try out some AC188/01s I have at home to see how they works!

Goog sound but need some expertise

The kit was ok apart from 1 wrong resistor which was supposed to be 1 kOhm but was 1 MOhm instead.
The circuit is all correct, both the board diagram and the wiring scheme of potentiometers, supply, etc.
The only thing I didnt understand is the 1 MOhm at R1 which I think isnt needed, it is not in the original fuzz face circuit and if I put it, no sound is coming out, dont know actually why.
Overall, the kit is very good and sounds great (Transistor were AC125 as suggested in the other comments).
