Description

The Factory is a clone of a well known boutique fuzz pedal. It is basically an extended germanium fuzz. You can create classic sounds as well as some very unusual sounds.

This kit contains all parts you need to build a fully functional effect pedal. Also very useful:

Its a good kit, with a bad documentation

Id give this 5 stars... but the build documentation is rather bad. The bags the transistors come in are marked with the wrong codes, there is no manual, so you need to find out by yourself how the pedal works. Since its a rather crazy device, you never know if some things are a feature of a fault in the circuit.
Also if you take the drilled enclosure its a bit hard to fit all the things in, since the jacks and the led have been placed a bit too close together to fit the PCB between them.

EXCELLENT !!!!

Il y a tellement de réglages possibles que cela peut devenir un casse tête !
Mais je ladore !! Placée juste avant la Box Of Rock, elle devient redoutable !!
Facile à assembler, le boitier BB permet de tout faire rentrer aisément.

Nice Fuzz !

Easy to build, nice sound, similar to the Zvex
I would have liked to have the famous Fat switch as the Fat Fuzz Factory but it sounds very well

Stoked

Have wanted to try this out for a long time and Im really happy for the whole thing.
Im big fan of the fuzz factory and diy in general and, although I have zero experience with electronics, soldering and stuff, everything went great (and worked first try, what?!).

The instructions are clear enough for a complete noob so I guess its spot on.
Got a smaller enclosure (similar to the original. 125B, maybe?) and drilled it myself...everything fit in nicely.
The pedal sounds really cool!

Customer service is great and promptly replied when I needed.
Could not be happier with the entire process.

Looking forward to the next one!

Exceeded Expectations

After a long wait, which Gitte was very responsive during, I received the 5 x Factory kits and was immediately impressed by the quality of components and the sorting in each bag. The instructions were perfect, the wiring was a bit tedious but the first build worked first test, sounds epic...very, very happy. These will not be the last I order from Musikding. Alpha pots, solid switch, Telefunkin Ge diodes...better components than much more expensive Ge fuzz fits Ive bought and built, easily the best sounding. Thank you Musikding for making these kits available and shipping to Canada!!!

Great sounding fuzz

The pedal is awesome and sounds great. Assembling the product is easy but I couldn’t find the transistors polarity so a couple of attempts needed in order to let the fuzz sound right. A more detailed guide (for beginners would be a time saver). I personally opted for the small Box Type B enclosure and it’s fine. Highly recommended!

Would not recommend for your first pedal, but definitely worth it

Sounds and works great and actually soldering everything together wasnt too bad (just pay careful attention to which way the transistors will go before you solder the sockets, since its harder to make out the markings afterwards).

Fitting everything in the enclosure was pretty tough, even with the enclosure being so large - but its still doable. This was my second pedal build, so its doable for a relative beginner too, as long as youre careful when putting everything into the enclosure.

Of course the fuzz factory is a pretty complicated pedal to dial in, so be sure youre ok with that too.

Great pedal true to the original

Great fuzz pedal with sound true to the original. Very versatile from all fuzz face sounds to almost big muff. Only issue is the sensitivity to wah pedal if it is infront of fuzz youll need buffer pedal to avoid squeals:)
