Description

The HardOne is a transparent and very direct volume booster based on the model from a wellknown boutique manufacturer. It needs very few parts, so it is perfect for beginners.

This kit contains all parts you need to build a fully functional effect pedal.

Not included in the kit, but also good to have:

Aluminium enclosure: please select one above
9V battery or DC power supply
A nice knob for the pot, for 6,3mm shaft
Decal, transfer or transparent sheets for labeling

Simple Big Boost

Really nice simple circuit, it works great and I would thoroughly recommend it.
Very easy to build, took me about an hour but even someone with a bit less experience I would expect less than 2 hours.
This does the classic boost function of raising the signal and even into my fully clean fender style amp this has enough gain to boost it into awesome overdrive.

der hardone

sounds great through a crunchy marshall, like adding an extra channel to your amp. also nicely warms up the tone and cleans up great when you slightly roll back the volume on your guitar. very easy to build and great support via email!

che botta!

Ha un volume pazzesco! dipende molto dallamplificatore dove viene usato ma riesce a darti quel salto in piu per gli assoli. Esalta anche le alte frequenze, in questo caso eccelle di piu se usato prima degli overdrive. Un pedale da avere, senzaltro.

Excellent, easy, on to the next one!

My first ever pedal build. Everything needed was there and in good order, and it worked in one go! The instructions looked a bit fiddly at first but once I understood the system it was incredibly easy and clear. Im super happy and already looking forward to getting more!

I got this kit as starter point for a extreme distorted and low tune guitar idea

Easy to build and sounds very clear, with the help of AI I added a couple of components to filter low frequencies which helped tremendously with getting a very articulate, aggressive and tight rhythm tone out of my Mesa Dual Rec Rev F, pretty happy with the result, now I am looking at adding a simple noise gate circuit and would be one of the best boost pedals in my collection.
