The Llama is a great sounding nasty overdrive pedal. As there aren´t many parts, it is quite simple to build.

This kit contains all parts you need to build a fully functional effect pedal.

Not included in the kit, but also good to have:

Aluminium enclosure: select one on the top (enclosure is not drilled)
9V battery or DC power supply
2 nice knobs for the pots, for 6.3mm shaft
Decal, transfer or transparent sheets for labeling

old school overdrive

very nice sounding kit pedal. it gives 70s tones.
the kid includes everything needed to complete the circuit and its price is unbeatable.
unfortunately the wires are very poor quality, use your prefered wire instead.

Red Llama rocks

This is a tiny kit with a very small schematic. The gain setting enables everything from clean to heavily (soft) clipped. The sound can become a bit sharp (but I dont mind). Highly recommended for this price.

le kit est tres bien facile a construire realiser de bonne soudure ca evite les mauvaises surprises sinon niveau son c est enorme ca vaut carrement des pedales de marques overdrive d enfer et avec de la puissance beau grains pas decus

Easy but awesome

Very easy to build, it was my first build I did by myself. Everything is made simple, you can easily see which part has to come at which place.

But it sounds really great!

Instructions incomplete, but still worked

The kit came with instruction for a PCB to attach to the 3PDT switch, but that PCB wasnt included in my shipment. Also, the build instructions for mounting the jacks and pots should be a little different I youre using the enclosure with topmount jacks.
I managed to get a working pedal on the first try with some googling, so it wasnt a big problem, but the instructions could be better.

Excellent pedal

Very easy to do, that was my first kit and everithing works just fine! perfect for begginner, and it sounds great!

Big overdrive

The Llama overdrives the Signal all across the board but still remains very useable, I was surprised by how great the pedal sounds.

This was my first pedal kit bought from Musikding, but it will most certainly not be the last! :)

Ottimo come boost

Come overdrive non sono riuscito ad utilizzarlo molto perchè ci sono troppi bassi; ma dipende molto dalla chitarra usata. Lo trovo ottimo come boost a fine catena. E un buon pedale.

Easy to build

My first home made pedal. For me, it took 4-5 hours to build, although I had to re-learn my soldering skills and made a few mistakes, also this is my very first built pedal. It was really fun to build, I enjoyed every second of it! The layout is very simple, an experienced builder should do it under an hour.

The pedal sounds awesome! So far I experienced no problems with it!
Just as the original pedal, it sounds really well with a tube amp, but maybe disappointing with solid state amp (check vids on youtube).

Only cons: My kit package missed the 3PDT foot switch, but I could just order one from a local store. I guess this was an honest mistake, so thats why I gave it still 5 starts.
