The May - Booster kit

Easy and great sounding, its just missing some DC filtering for power supply usage (very common on this type of pedals).
Zero issues with a battery.

It was the first project for me and I can say that it was very simple. I purchased a second kit for a diy project for a belt or strap module . The electronics are easy the only thing is finding an appropriate enclosure.

it works awesome with battery, but with power supply worked for a while then the power supply start smoking and never worked again.... im actually using it with battery and had no problem after that.

What a really great value for money kit! A really easy build. A great introduction to DIY pedal kits for any guitarist. I purchased the kit along with the undrilled case and less than 24 hours later (including sleep). I have a very professional looking unit fully sprayed with Decals. The variable boost really pushes the higher frequencies really well. I wish learning to play as well as Mr May was as simple!

My first self-build. Really straightforward to build with nice clear instructions. All worked first time. Very quiet with both battery and isolated power supply. Sounds excellent (VOX AC15), exactly as expected. Highly recommended as both a first build, but also if you want a great sounding, simple treble booster.
