The Plexi - Overdrive kit

Kit molto bello, facile da assemblare anche per un neofita come me!
Suona bene con ampli ma anche, sorprendentemente, in diretta in un mixer accoppiato a un cab sim.

Il pedale è molto dinamico, molto sensibile alla plettrata.
Giocando con il volume della chitarra passi Da un pulito leggermente saturo ad bel crunch, senza cali di volume.
Se poi aggiungi un booster a monte le possibilità si moltiplicano.
Io lo uso in questo modo e mi trovo molto bene!

The kit was really easy and fun to build for someone like me with basic electronics knowledge. The kit is cleverly engineered with good quality parts. I was really impressed by the different sound flavors offered by this stompbox.

Jai monté ce kit et franchement, il dépasse mes attentes. Simple, très différent des TS et Zen/Ray. Je ne possède pas le Wam Plex dorigine, mais comparé au BB préamp sig AT, ben, cest plus beau, mieux défini, croustillant !! Je retrouve nettement un lien de parenté avec mon 1987X lorsquil rugit. Jai monté mon kit en Wima et mica argenté, pas de céramiques.

I built this kit a few months ago. Now that I am well acquainted with it, I can write a review. It was my first complete kit, a pretty difficult one for an absolute beginner.

But i followed the instructions in high detail and all went well. I highly recommend it.

I use it as a clean boost, always on. Just to get that plexi vacuum tube type of soft overdrive. When I hit the strings lightly, it has a pure clean sound. When I pluck them hard, it breaks.

The filtering know couldve been a bit better, but it works well, and overall for the price this is an unbeatable plexy type of overdrive pedal. It sounds a lot like my ToneCity GoldenPlexy pedal.
