Description

The Screamer is a project to build 2 famous overdrive pedals, the TS-9 and TS-808. Both versions are nearly identical, there are just 2 resistors different.

The new version 2 uses pcb mount pots and an adaptor board for the footswitch. This makes wiring and assembly much faster and safer!

This kit contains all parts you need to build a fully functional effect pedal. Also very useful:

3 nice knobs for the pots, for 6.3mm shaft

Tube screamer...

Very good kit! The sound is good and the kit is rather easy to mount. If you add another switch you can easily switch between the TS-9 and the TS-808 circuit,

Great pedal

Great sounding and easy to build pedal.
all ics and trannys have sockets so they can be changed every time.
also parts for ts808 and ts9 included.
I noticed no sound difference to the original

First project

Easy to assemble, clear instructions and good quality components. Not easy to fit in smaller pre-drilled enclosures. By mistake I received two wrong resistors, that were promptly replaced (good service). Excellent sound !

SCREAMER!!!!!

took me 35 minutes to build it and 1 hour to find that I have to put a jumper between the 2 holes below C8 and R15 for it to work... Please update the instructions - most people cannot read electronic schematics!!!
The pedal sound is almost identical to my stock ts9, so I recommend it to anyone who needs a quality (and easily moddable) screamer and can solder properly. GREAT!!!!

Excellent

This is my first experience, the kit is complete and in order, it is not difficult to follow the instructions to assemble the pedal. The sound is really nice, I made model 808 excellent. great site, fast shipping, friendly and helpful staff. thanks

Workhorse for sound

Bought it several months ago, so I checked it really well :-) Its fantastic, I made the 808 mod and its perfect for blues or for boosting the amp. Pot changes give you several different nuances - except for extreme metal, this one really rock on quite all music. I reccomend it, I use it in my pedalboard and will stay there. Thank you MusikDing!
