Description

The Screamer is a project to build 2 famous overdrive pedals, the TS-9 and TS-808. Both versions are nearly identical, there are just 2 resistors different.

The new version 2 uses pcb mount pots and an adaptor board for the footswitch. This makes wiring and assembly much faster and safer!

This kit contains all parts you need to build a fully functional effect pedal. Also very useful:

Tube screamer...

Very good kit! The sound is good and the kit is rather easy to mount. If you add another switch you can easily switch between the TS-9 and the TS-808 circuit,

un vrai tube screamer

jai essayé beaucoup de tube screamer, même les plus renommés, sans jamais trop comprendre comment çà avait put autant plaire aux gratteux, puis jai monté ce kit et jai alors compris, super, kit de très haute qualité, bravo jaurais jamais pensé obtenir un tel résultat, comme la plupart des kits musikding dailleurs, toujours extrémement musicaux et dun vrai plaisir à jouer, çà sonne comme un rêve, à croire que les marchands deffets se fouttent de nous !
sans compter que le montage deviens une drogue dure, je meclate!

Very good kit.

Easy to build and very good sound.
Just be aware that while the online instructions show how to wire for an internal battery it will not fit in the enclosure with the components provided.

I had to change to smaller jacks and now the battery barely fits. Otherwise, excellent.

Ma première pédale

Débutant complet, cest la première pédale que jai monté. Aucun soucis au montage, jai du un peu réfléchir pour monter les condensateurs car je ne suis pas habitué au marquage et aux unités, mais mis à part cela, cétait facile de monter cette pédale. Jai fait une petite erreur lors du cablage de lalimentation, mais jai très vite repérer ce bugg et ma frayeur na été que de courte durée. Quelle joie ensuite de pouvoir découvrir le son de la pédale que jai fabriqué de mes propres mains. Je recommande ce kit aux débutants !

Excellent first kit

This was my first build and I have enjoyed it thoroughly.
I already had some primary basic knowledge of electronics and that made it a little bit easier, but for the absolute beginner I think they will succeed. You dont have to read schematics.

The pedal was working in one go, all the components were complete and marked, except for the capacitors.
That would be my only critique.

I will buy another kit soon!

Bien, assez facile à monter, et fonctionne bien!

Superbe projet!
Assez facile à monter avec des connaissances de base en électronique et soudure.
Pour le son, ce circuit sonne bien, peut-être aussi bien que le ts9/ts808 original, mais je nai pas délément de comparaison.
Il y a suffisamment de place pour tout le circuit, mais si vous voulez mettre une pile dans le boîtier, il faudra modifier lemplacement des jacks et du footswitch, sinon ça ne passera pas (je nai pas testé la modif).
Le kit comprend les résistances et un petit Switch pour passer de la ts9 à la ts808, et cest assez facile à réaliser.
Il y a suffisamment de câble pour tout faire confortablement, mais si vous voulez faire dautres modifs, il faudra prévoir quelques composants en plus, dispo sur le site.
Pour ma part je suis très content du kit comme du vendeur : petit souci de livraison (boîtier commandé mais non fourni), mais très vite réglé par Klaus, beaucoup moins vite par la Poste, mais autre sujet!
