The Tremolo - optical Tremolo kit

après en avoir construit plusieurs , j ais fait cette petite modif : je remplace le trimmer R4 par un pot de 25 k
ce qui permet d augmenter le gain , si par exemple on as besoin de trémolo bien fort sur l intro d un morceau .
j ais aussi fait une modif avec 1 switch qui permet de passer de 1 pot de speed à 1 autre pot de speed ( 2 preset de speed au final ) on peut aussi mettre un jack pour avoir le speed en externe avec un pédale d expression , bref un super trémolo .

Very versatile sounds! I really like the stutter effect that is possible.
For me it is a bit unclear what all the controls do, for example - what is Space? But even without knowing what it means I can dial in a very inspiring effect!

Great sounding tremolo, with 5 knobs it is very versatile with lots of different sounds. Also quite easy to build and so highly recommended.

The amount of control over the tremolo is asounding. The sound quality is stellar!
The only minor downer was that the kit came with another optocoupler, so I had to google the part to know how to mount it properly. But that was really a minor complaint. I decided to build it into a standard standing box configuration to save some space on my pedal board. There was easily enough space to figure that out and something I can recommend.

Very versatile and inspiring tremolo, thank you!

It was my third pedal soldering, but the hardest one at the moment: a couple of components were different to the ones on the pictures in the instruction and on the internet. Firstly, I was struggling with the optocoupler (which I soldered upside down due to the non-obviousness how to direct it and got no tone at all, also I had a couple of bad joint contacts). Secondly, when the issue was fixed, the pedal became too loud to use with no obvious option to tame it (now I know: theres R4 trimpot on the PCB for that). In both cases Musikding forums were of great help - I resolved both problems and now enjoy the tone of the pedal very much (especially in combination with delay and reverb).

Hope my review will help someone who struggles the same situations.

A fairly easy build make sure you check the polarity of the optical resistor +ve (its not that clear on the one I got). The gain control on the trim pot is quite sensitive so it needs to be set to almost off for Unity gain.

Loads of really good sounds from the unit and it has loads of control recommend it.

A wonderful kit, simple to build and it does everything a tremolo should. Sounds musical, and tweaks from rude choppers to mellow vintage dwells. Just trim the gain to your personal preference, pick your favourite sunglasses and chill. Ive gone through numerous boutique tremolos, and we have a hands-down winner here. And though a tight fit, it can be put in a 1590B!

Excellent Tremolo, très créatif et très fin !

Jai raté le premier kit.
Jai commandé un deuxième kit, ça a marché.
Ce que je peux conseiller en premier lieu : soignez vos soudures !
Jai eu beaucoup de désagréments sur des premiers kits avec un mauvais fer à souder et fil à souder (made in china...).
Donc, je conseille :
Un vrai bon fer à souder
Une vraie panne blinder
Un bon fil à souder (si possible plomb ou argent) chez Bmj (en france)
Et regardez des tutos sur le soudure, ne faites pas à larrache. Ya un coup à prendre, cest pas sorcier, mais il y a des trucs à savoir de base, étudiez la question.
Le reste... Je dirais que cest du légo à assembler. À condition de ne pas avoir un composants défectueux caché, difficile ensuite de débugger pour les débutants.
