Description

The Watch Tower is a Tubescreamer based Overdrive, with 6 different clipping settings, 5 Bandwidth settings, 2 Gain channels and an additional Booster.

This kit contains the PCB and all necessary parts. The enclosure can be selected, please select 7 knobs for 6,3mm shaft separately.

Enorme

Un peu longue à monter mais sans grande difficulté : on a plein de place sur le PCB et les composants ne sont pas trop serrés les uns contre les autres.

Pour le son, cest énorme : on a plein de possibilités (trop?) et je peux affiner ma les Paul ou élargir le son de ma télcaster avec un bonheur égal.

Pas de souffle, (un peu quand tout est à fond en gain B avec le boost à blinde) et un son qui peut être très classique ou beaucoup beaucoup plus affirmé.

Bref quelques heures de fun à prévoir pour trouver Le son qui me va avec cette pédale !

Super versatile

Il kit con tutti i componenti sono arrivati in 3/4 giorni lavorativi dallordine, come sempre solo per questo, Musikding merita 5 stelle.

Il pedale suona da paura! Ha una versatilità eccezionale, passa da un suono leggero e cruchoso, passando ad una vera distorsione fino ad un fuzz bello grasso, assomiglia molto al pedale originale. Inoltre è silenzioso ed è semplice da assemblare dato che non necessita di regolazioni particolari, se non una buona manualità nel saldare (ovviamente).
Nella lista BOM di PCB Guitar mania troverete dei consigli di varianti per op amp e Transistor, comprateli a parte e sperimentate, ne vale la pena!

Attenzione ad alcune cose:
- nella lista componenti troverete il led1 con pin centrale positivo, a voi serve pin centrale negativo;
- sempre il led1, per funzionare correttamente, necessità di un ponticello dal pin centrale alla massa, altrimenti non si accenderà mai!
- il box preforato a me è arrivato con i fori dei lever switch fuori misura e altri fori per i potenziometri troppo stretti. Consiglio di bucarvi il box da soli usando la dima che trovate sulla pagina di PCB Guitar mania.
