The Bluelay guitar effects pedal is a very analog sounding delay, based on the digital PT2399 IC. Controls for Delay, Mix and Feedback enable to get a wide variety of sounds.

This kit contains all parts you need to build a fully functional effect pedal.

Not included in the kit, but also good to have:

Aluminium enclosure: select one from top
DC power supply
3 nice knobs for the potetniometer, for 6,3mm shaft
Decal, transfer or transparent sheets for labeling

Awesome pedal kit, very good value.

First off the pedal sounds amazing, I was very surprised it sounds as good as it does.

The kit itself is fantastic, all of the components are very good quality and everything is clearly labelled. The resistors all have the resistance hand written on the end tags, this is very much appreciated.

The assembly instructions and circuit diagrams are really good and easy to follow, maybe a little bit vague for a complete beginner. Cant recommend this pedal kit enough, for the price it is very good value. I will definitely be purchasing more pedal kits from musikding. Thanks.

Fantastic

The kit is perfect. Components are packed in convenient sachets, the pcb is excellent workmanship.
The effect works perfectly, the amount of delay is enough for every my necessities, the bypass switch is quite silent.

Excellent kit !

Je viens de terminer de monter ce kit.
Bravo à Musikding pour le repérage des composants très pratique si on na pas de testeur à sa disposition.
Le montage de ce kit demande un minimum de rigueur et de méthode pour tout faire rentrer dans le petit boîtier en alu. Ça passe pile poil, mais comme jai déjà monté 3 kits je men suis bien sorti :-D
Je me suis fais une petite frayeur car une fois le kit assemblé, je branche et tout fonctionne (yes!), mais mon signal est clairement plus fort lorsque leffet est enclenché... Jusquà ce que je me rappelle quil y a un petit trimpot à lintérieur qui se règle avec un petit cruciforme. Et là : top !!
Super effet bien fini, tout paraît de qualité, des jacks aux potards.
Le son est franchement joli, un chouette délai analogique avec une petite dégradation qui arrive au fur et à mesure des répétitions. Il peut aussi partir en auto-oscillation si on abuse des répétitions, moi jadore :-)
Leffet est franchement silencieux, pas de bruit parasite à déplorer.
Je lorgne déjà sur un autre kit... :-P

I just finished assembling this kit.
Bravo to Musikding for identifying the components, which is very practical if you dont have a tester at your disposal.
The assembly of this kit requires a minimum of rigor and method to fit everything into the small aluminum case.
I was scared because once the kit is assembled, I plug in and everything works (yes!), But my signal is clearly stronger when the effect is on... Until I remember that there is a small trimpot inside which is adjusted with a small cruciform. And there: top !!
Super well finished effect, everything seems of quality, from the jacks to the knobs.
The sound is frankly pretty, a nice analog delay with a little degradation that happens as the rehearsals. It can also go into self-oscillation if we abuse the repetitions, I love it :-)
The effect is frankly silent, no noise to deplore.
Im already eyeing another kit ... :-P

amazing delay, go for it

Everything comes as expected, you couldnt ask for more. Just be careful if you drill the enclosure, everything must be precise so the everything fits inside.
This one was my second build from musikling and for me probably the best one, it exceeded the expectations!

Love it. Easy to build, does what its supposed to do.

I needed a basic delay. This is it. Plenty of delay time, feedback that goes into self-oscillation, very effective Mix knob and the level can be adjusted with a trimmer inside but I havent even touched it.

As always with Musikding the kit and the instructions are great. PCB-mounted pots and the small PCB for the footswitch and LED make life so much easier and the build so much cleaner.
