The Bluelay guitar effects pedal is a very analog sounding delay, based on the digital PT2399 IC. Controls for Delay, Mix and Feedback enable to get a wide variety of sounds.

This kit contains all parts you need to build a fully functional effect pedal.

Not included in the kit, but also good to have:

Aluminium enclosure: select one from top
DC power supply
3 nice knobs for the potetniometer, for 6,3mm shaft
Decal, transfer or transparent sheets for labeling

Awesome pedal kit, very good value.

First off the pedal sounds amazing, I was very surprised it sounds as good as it does.

The kit itself is fantastic, all of the components are very good quality and everything is clearly labelled. The resistors all have the resistance hand written on the end tags, this is very much appreciated.

The assembly instructions and circuit diagrams are really good and easy to follow, maybe a little bit vague for a complete beginner. Cant recommend this pedal kit enough, for the price it is very good value. I will definitely be purchasing more pedal kits from musikding. Thanks.

Easy to build, works really nice

Each type of components are marked clearly, instructions are easy to read. Finalizing the build with nicely pre-drilled casing and result looks like prebuild pedal. Just add the potentiometer knobs and its goid to go!

What to say? This is a nice Delay..., Lay..., Lay ;-)!

Indeed, a very nice Delay-effect. Klaus (MD) told me it is a clone of the Deep Blue Delay (as I remember well, I purchased a very Mad/Bad Professor device from a Chinese Crap Company ;-). Somehow, it didnt feel right and thus I sold it soon after receiving. It gives me a much better feeling to build it myself. So I did ;-). And the sound is right. Warm and creamy, meaning of course not very digital. I use it in combination with the Breaker-kit (in one BBDD-enclosure) for my MadAmp G3-Blues. A somewhat more complex building PCB, but if you are familiar to this kind of lay outs it is done in one evening. Good to check ánd measure first all the delivered components. Nicely labeled on all resistors, where capacitors have their own marks already printed on the housing.
Compliment for MD! I do like this kind of Delay, because it helps me to create a kind of space with short delay-time settings. And it sounds different from a Reverb-like device. But it also must be stated that in fact you know how it sounds when the job is done!

nice delay

Great sounding delay, and quite easy build as well. Put the feedback knob to the max and enjoy the trip!

bon délai numérique

Simple à monter, son très correct. Très amusant à utiliser : il est simple de le faire partir en auto oscillation, cest donc un régal pour le shoegaze. Un peu froid peu être dans le timbre cela dit, jaurais peut-être dû prendre celui avec un controle de tonalité, ça manque un peu parfois.

Très bon produit en tout cas, comme toujours !

A good delay

Easy to build, worked first time with no issue. Excellent quality with analog like sounds for my particular usage, home playing on a low wattage tube amp.

Fantastico

Molto bello e naturale. Ho trovato molto utile la presenza del trim interno per regolare il volume finale a pedale inserito. Delay perfetto per slapback o per dare una scia piacevole per gli assoli. Non è mai fastidioso. Consigliato!

First DIY pedal build

Really easy to assemble and instructions were good. I followed the partslist for where the components should go on the PCB, but had to watch a youtube video to see where the wires should go as I’m not very experienced with reading schematics. The pedal sounds good and I’m considering to add som modulation mod. Fun project.
