Description

The Blue Shoe Gai Pan features the dynamics and tone of a loud stadium level amplifier at low volume levels. It has an added active mid control to adjust the sound.

This kit contains the PCB and all necessary parts. The enclosure can be selected, please select 6 knobs for 6.3mm shaft seperately.

Great

Well thought out circuit that combines a parametric midband EQ and boost (Haunting mids) into an amp-like gain stage with a master vol (Supreaux Deux). It is like boosting into a scuzzy amp in a box. The controls are interactive and there is a lot going on, so it is not the easiest pedal to use, but it sounds great, and once you understand how it works you can dial in a wide range of useful sounds.

The kit came with 3x J201s which was a nice surprise. I recommend socketing them these days. The voltage is doubled in the circuit from 9 to 18v so they must be biased to 9v - this is not mentioned in the PedalPCB build doc.
