Description

The Muzzle is one of the most transparent noise gates available as a DIY project. Studio quality specifications with simple straight forward operation. Can be used with guitar, bass or any signal source.

This kit contains the PCB and all necessary parts. The enclosure can be selected, please select 1 knob for 6.3mm shaft seperately.

Proper noise gate

Kit came with a blue-red dual LED which was way too bright. This must be the wrong LED, I dont think anybody would intentionally install this LED in this pedal. I replaced it with a green-red dual LED, now the pedal lights up correct.

Key Through was noisy in the beginning until I connected the sleeves (slanted corners) of the key jacks together with a cable. I think I need that because my multi-output power supply is isolated.

Muzzle works nicely. Its not neutral in my opinion, I feel it adds a (small) bit of a boost to the treble side of things, but in a way that I actually like. 5 stars for the pedal! 4 stars for the kit because of the wrong LED.
