Beschreibung

Der Vandal from Hell ist die Pedal-Inkarnation des High-Gain-Kanals eines RG100 Amps.

Dieser Bausatz enthält die Platine und alle benötigten Teile. Das Gehäuse kann ausgewählt werden, 6 Drehknöpfe, bis 19mm Durchmesser, für 6,3mm Achse bitte separat aussuchen.

Brutal

Nice kit. Kit was complete (it actually had a few extra parts that werent needed, a 2k2 R, a 2nd 9V power socket and a black switch with two pins). I biased Q1 and Q2 to a bit over 6V at the drains a la Runoffgroove Fetzer Valve (received the tip to try this on a forum). It sounds good like that. With the appropriate level of boost in front its pretty brutal.

I bent the pins of the pots upward a tiny bit to make them stick out of the PCB a little. Beware that C15 is big so R12 needs to be moved down a bit for the capacitor to fit snugly.

It was not easy to box up the pedal because of the many pots and switches. But it all worked out in the end. Musikding drilled the holes at the proper places.
