Description

The FV-24 Multi FX uses the internal sounds of the fv-1 chip and has space for 2 extra eeproms for a total of 24 sounds, ideal for experimenting and developing sound patches using "SpinCAD Designer by Holy City Audio".

This kit contains the pcb and all necessary parts. You can choose an enclosure, please select 6 knobs, up to 15mm diameter, for 6,3mm shaft separately.

Good

Fast shipping, good quality of element and PCB. Few quite nice Fxs and spacer for install banks.

Great project for multi fx builds, 24 effects in one box.

I made a mistake and thought the kit included 24 effects.

So later, I ordered 2 customized EEPROM with all the PedalPCB programs i was curious to try.

Musikding was very kind, they agreed to order both EEPROM for me from the USA so that i could save the shipping fee from the USA.

PedalPCB programs are all surprisingly good. 8 effects on each EEPROM plus the 8 internal effects from the FV-1 IC.

The build itself is quite simple, i had no issues. The FV-1 internal effects are good, but they sound a bit digital and dull compared to PedalPCB algorythms.

The project is probably intended for people who want to design their own algorythms. Im not interested in creating digital effects, i just wanted to save some space in my backpack when i travel, with one stompbox that can do lots of various things instead of several stompboxes and patch cables.

I am more than pleased with the Multi FX FV-24, its exactly what i wanted.
