Description

The Ghost device is standalone atmospheric machine to create dreamy and haunted textures. It creates 30-150ms of pre-delay. It combines a PT2399 IC and a Belton BTDR-2H-L module.

This kit contains the PCB and all necessary parts. The enclosure can be selected, please select 3 knobs for 6,3mm shaft separately.

Super Kit

Easy to build, great sounding

Tricky to play

Le montage est simple : PCB de bonne qualité, composants super bien étiquetés (merci Musikding !). Rien à redire.
Le son maintenant : ça sonne spring reverb mais sans drip...
Les premiers essais mont un peu déçu : pas un super apport comparé à une petite reverb numérique tout bête, pas vilain, mais....
En testant mieux, le pre delay est génial : ça donne un ressenti super ! On retrouve les sensations dun slap back delay, sans le coté brouillon. Cest tout bête, mais ça permet de faire son Neil Young sans rendre lingé son fou : on garde un son exploitable.
Bref, cest tricky à régler, il faut un peu de temps pour trouver son propre son avec cette pédale, mais quand on la cest très très bon.

Great reverb

Something more, than just a reverb pedal. It gives nice texture and ambience to the sound, however, its not something, you leave turned on all the time. Add a little bit of delay, and it gives nice atmosphere to the overall sound. Build was easy, but it would be nice to add a mod, where you could influence built in delay mix.
overall - this one stays on my board.
