The PedalPCB Hyped Boost is based on the Clean Boost EQ mode of the discontinued Boss FZ-2 Hyper Fuzz.

This kit contains the PCB and all necessary parts. The enclosure can be selected, please select 4 knobs for 6.3mm shaft seperately.

GREAT POWERFUL BOOST

So this kit is a clone of the boost circuit on a boss fz-2 and its pretty much spot on, it nails the dynamics of the original pedal while being more convenient due to the added level control. I however find myself leaving thhis level knob on max setting to keep the big volume boost of the original. Paired with a good tube amp this pedal is a powerhouse. The build schematics need updating as they did not match exactly what was sent to me : composant R29 is a 56k resistor (while the instructions says its 10k), also the small part of board that goes on the footswitch is not mentioned anywhere on the instructions, so it took some guesswork to solder it properly. Im sure this is no problem for an experienced pedal builder but for a beginner such as me it was offputting.
