Lithium Analog Chorus kit

The pcb itself is very good, and its even kind of beautiful. Probably the best looking Aions board ?

I would almost hang it on my wall, to enjoy its perfection and impress my guests...

As usual, on my build i couldnt decide which version i would prefer, so instead of the internal switch, i used a DPDT to be able to toggle between both versions easily.

Both versions are good and sound slightly different. One position is slightly brighter, the other has a better bass response.

The chorusing effect itself is impressive, so beautiful, with its own singular character.

I compared it with some modded CE-2 (Delyks 2nd Choral), modded CH-1 (depth mod), Mxr stereo chorus M134, its closer to the CH-1, but with some additional darkness, mystery and warmth in there, i would say.

Of course, analog choruses with BBD chips will sound much more refined than all the Lo-Fi choruses circuits based on a cheap PT2399.

The extra Blend control, allowing to dial the Clean/Modulation ratio, is very useful, especially for bass or bass synth.

It doesnt do Vibrato, you cant dial out all the clean signal and keep only the modulation, but that should be easy to modify with a little time and effort.

Easy build once you are a little experienced, calibration is easy, highly recommended.
