Description
The Simulcast is a transformer-coupled, discrete Class-A Germanium preamp based on the classic mixing consoles of the transmitter systems of the 1960s. In the low-gain setting, the Simulcast covers everything from clean boost to transparent overdrive. In the mid-gain setting, the Simulcast begins to saturate the transformer, resulting in a light and dynamic compression with a slight thickening of the midrange. With the Gigh-Gain setting, the Simulcast delivers distorted sounds with a warm and fuzzy note.
