Great kit and such a useful little box!

Simple and easy to build. Could use a couple of adhesive standoffs and maybe some more specific building instructions, but it was easy to figure out.

Simple but very effective buffered splitter box

Very low parts count on the PCB so easy to populate and to assemble in the extra ordered predrilled enclosure.
More then enough wiring provided to wire the PCB to the connectors.
Designed around a low noise LM833 opamp, it does not add any noise.

One remark is that no (plastic) standoffs for the PCB are provided. I had to source them myself, which makes the kit a bit incomplete. I would like to recommend to add them to the kit.
If these were provided, I would have given the total kit a 5 star rating.
Having said that, I am very happy with the two 4Split ‘brick’ kits I ordered, they are very useful tools for a great price!

No major problems, does what it does

Straight forward build, with no major hassles or problems. As others have mentioned, PCB stand offs would be a nice addition. I found the circuit requires a very clean power supply (ideally a battery) otherwise it is a bit noisy. I would be keen for a version that outputs to two 6.3mm jacks and an XLR connector.
