Kit Madamp G3 Blues

That little amp gives you those quality blues tones for playing at low volume.
Equaliser is effective, Trebble , Mids, Bass;
But I found a lack of trebble to my taste, so do I set it up at 1:00 oclock; One may find it ok for Blues playing;
The bass pot does not add tons of Bass, but again , it is enough at 12:00 and well balanced with Mids and Trebble, and its all a matter of taste.
I was surprised by the Gain control which gives only a light subtle drive (Klon/Soul food like ), while the Volume gives more drive than the Gain.
The 3 watts of this amp are far quieter than my Vox 2 watt Night Train, but it is more than enough for a Bedroom: I usually set Volume At 12:00 and Gain at 9:00 for a single coil pick-up, Volume at 9:00 with P90 or Humbuckers.
About the kit, it contains quality components and parts, very well referenced; And documents and instructions to build it are perfect, just follow carefully step by step the text and useful photos; drawing of finished product as well as electronic schematics are supplied.
I took me a lot of time to complete it, because Im not an expert, there are lots of tiny pieces or wires to prepare and solder and I regularly double check what I do,
but I worked well at 1st power on.
Of course, SAFETY is a MUST, so one has to be really carefull when checking the voltages at 1st power on,
but again just follow the instructions on the supplied document.
And a minimum knowledge on electricity and electronics is needed.
Now wandering whether to go for a 15WAtts Deluxe or not !?

bought my very first kit to assemble
arrived poorly packaged - breadboard broken in two pieces, no detailed shipping manifest included, so it will take time to assess other shipping damage (hope no more damage done)
