Description

The Screamer is a project to build 2 famous overdrive pedals, the TS-9 and TS-808. Both versions are nearly identical, there are just 2 resistors different.

The new version 2 uses pcb mount pots and an adaptor board for the footswitch. This makes wiring and assembly much faster and safer!

This kit contains all parts you need to build a fully functional effect pedal. Also very useful:

Tube screamer...

Very good kit! The sound is good and the kit is rather easy to mount. If you add another switch you can easily switch between the TS-9 and the TS-808 circuit,

I have the version 1 808 model, it is simple to male it. I like its sound and I suggest to buy kit if you need for an overdrive.

Just like a typical screamer

Easy to assemble and fast to make. I dont own a real tube screamer to compare the sound but it sounds just like i imagined.

Identical to the original (perhaps better!)

Really good sounding kit: compared to a Maxon OD9 its pretty identical in terms of tone, its quiet (no background noise at all) and the regular 3pdt is more smart and comfortable than the traditional TS9 style switch. So, better than the original!

Good KIT

Very good KIT. High quality PCB boards. Easy to build and sounds really great. I built a TS-9 variant that fits perfectly with my telecaster and tube amplifier.

swiss knife!

Build this kit about 8 times now... Keep on building, telling people about it and selling it. Its a great kit. I always make the TS-8 version and it does the trick for me.
Musikding kits are well thought through and the info about the kits is good.

Excellent result

Very good overdrive pedal, can easily compete with famous brand products.
Awesome sound and easy to tune.
High quality PCB witch make the soldering job very easy.
Socket mounted delicate parts.
Improvement needed on instructions file which is to minimalist:
- More explanations vont hurt unexperienced customers.
- Picture in it is showing another kit
- No template for enclosure drilling

Wow

What a great pedal. The board is very well laid out with respect to the case, everything fits nice and neat. The inclusion of the resistors for both ts9 and ts808 was a nice touch. Easy build, great instructions.

The PCB is made in a very professional manner, the potentiometers are mounted on the board is this greatly reduces the connections.
The sound is very nice, but I can not tell you how similar it is to the original.
Very recommended.

Il PCB è realizzato in modo molto professionale, i potenziometri sono montati sulla scheda è questo riduce molto i collegamenti.
Il suono è molto bello, ma non saprei dirvi quanto sia simile alloriginale.

Great sounding pedal, well prepared kit, excellent support from Musikding!

The Screamer was one of the first kits I built. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow, and the kit was well prepared with nice attention to detail too. E.g. wires edges pre-stripped and ready for use, plastic spacers for the potentiometer backs etc, which also help make the builds even easier.

The pedal sounds very nice, with a sweet sounding overdrive and nice harmonics. The Tone control is also very effective in shaping the tone.

The support from Musikding is also excellent! The team responds immediately to every request, and always willing to attend to even the slightest issue in a very cooperative and polite way. I will be returning for more kits, and can highly recommend them.
