The Screamer - Overdrive kit

I choose for Ts808 and the crunch sound that I looking for is simply perfect. Very helpful the 2 holes in the pcb that allows you to fix it in the enclosure.

Le kit est bien conçu. Lensemble est facile à mettre en place et en plus ça sonne denfer.
Je pense investir dans un autre model car cest du sérieux.

This was my second pedal build from Musikding.de. It went without a hitch and the result it very good. Great versatility - tones varying fromlight crunch to lovely full overdrive. I cannot say if it does indeed match the sound of the real tubescreamer but it is lovely.

The switch which allows for asymmetrical or symmetrical clipping has a minor impact on sound.

I made the 808 but have seen someone who wired it so it was possible to switch between the 9 and the 808. Instructions for that would be great.

I can recommend this for anyone - it is very easy.

First pedal I built and found it very easy as I am an electrical engineer but I think there is enough info in videos and in the manual to build it without specific electronic knowledge.

Tone is better than expected though I havent tried the original TS.

I built it with a mod to switch between TS9 and TS808 but I cannot hear any difference. Has anyone tried it?

I also have a problem with the DC input. It doesnt seem to work when I plug it. Anyone having the same problem?

Overall the service was nice and quick, everything well packed. The only thing that kinda bothered me was that in the schematic there was a part (a capacitor) that had little * on the side, but was not included in the kit. Therefore I had to do a little goolesearching to find out that it was an optional part and not needed fot the pedal to work properly.

The second thing Id like them to change was the lenght of the supplied wire pieces to connect main pcb with switch pcb - in my expirience they were to short, so Id eventualy replace them (Im talking about 1 extra cm of wire).

But all that said, Id buy again. So no real deal breakers here:)

Cette pédale ma desuite inspiré confiance avec un son propre, je la combine avec mon canal overdrive de mon Peavey VK112, le son est propre, et assez lourd.
Pour le montage (à moins quils aient oublié denvoyer une doc ou autre) jai du un chercher un schema pour savoir quel composant allait où etc... au final tout va bien ! :)
PS: je conseil de choisir le boitier déjà troué pour un montage 100% niquel.

i prefer the old version , the new version the pot are solder on the pcb so you can t put them where you want ( exemple : in line )
