The Screamer - Overdrive kit

Very good kit. All parts where in the kit, actually 1 thing ekstra. I have moved the LED up in the top of the enclosure, so I dont cover it with my shoe.
I made the 808 version. Sounds very open and have a nice drive-tone.

Le Screamer est un overdrive de bonne qualité assez transparent et efficace.

Le kit en lui même est livré avec toutes les pièces nécessaires.

Pour ma part jai eu quelques difficultés à le monter en raison de mon ignorance en matière délectronique (cest mon premier kit et je navais pas soudé depuis le collège) mais aussi en raison du manque dindications et du fait que le guide de montage ne montre pas la version 2 du Screamer...

Du coup jai brûlé le pcb et jai dû en commander un second.

Les gens de Musikding on été super et mont renvoyé un pcb et les composants et au final me voilà avec un excellent overdrive pour un prix modique.

Very versatile little pedal with a great sound. The kit was very easy to assemble, I added a 2PDT switch that I mounted on the side to switch between the TS-9 and TS-808 circuits. To be honest the difference is very very subtle, it is worth having the ability to switch between the 2 circuits to see for yourself, but if not I would probably go with the TS-808 circuit, I think it is just a tiny bit warmer sounding where the TS-9 is a bit harsher sounding and closer to being a distortion than an overdrive sound if that makes sense. Highly recommend this pedal.

Easy kit to build, everything is well labelled and explained, with parts of quality and the enclosure is perfect, sturdy, no extra cosmetics.
Sound is equal to a Tubescreamer for a third of the price and you can build the TS-808 or the TS-9 (Or both at the same time, using a switch). It is perfect. Everything is well packed, delivery on time, and support service excellent.
I have already build 2 of this because it is so great that it is a must in my pedalboard. Also fellow guitar players asked to play with it or asked me to build one for them.

I bought it and built it last year ... My first project. Construction is easy if you first inform yourself about welding, electronics and components, and also download all the pdf manuals. The pedal sounds very similar to the original, great sound! The components are of excellent quality, much more resistant than a commercial pedal. The musikding guys are perfect. fast shipping and kind assistance.

Montage simple pour qui à déjà quelques bases de soudures...
Cette pédale német ancun bruit parasite et respecte bien le signal de la guitare, potards réactif, avec une course de tone agréable, du crunch à la saturation un kit idéal pour obtenir un son chaud!
Bref on sapproche terriblement des originales...

Dont have a TS9 to compare it to but it sounds absolutely incredible. Couldnt be happier.

Im a novice at soldering but had no problems at all during the entire construction. However I would definitely recommend buying the helping hand tool off musikding to hold your circuit board while you solder.

Todo venía en el pack muy bien ordenado y marcado. Además vienen resistencias para poder hacer el 808 o el TS9 (yo al final hice el 808), aunque también hay una modificación que mediante un switch puedes cambiar entre los dos.
A pesar de no saber mucho de electrónica ha sido fácil de montar y suena como el original.
Algún otro pedal de por aquí me haré...
